Marjolein Theunissen’s journey transformed three years ago when she built her own drum with 'Lowland shaman' Peter de Haan. From that moment, her spiritual path accelerated. Manifestations unfolded rapidly, leading to the creation of this retreat center and so much more.
She discovered that the rhythm of the drum is ancient, instinctive, and anchored deep within us. With just a few beats, it becomes a powerful tool to return home to yourself. Steady, grounded, and present.
Passionate about sharing this magic, Marjolein now inspires others to reconnect with their inner rhythm. Together with Peter, she hosts drum-building workshops so everyone can create their own lifelong tool for healing, connection, and transformation.

To get to the Costa del Soul Retreat Center by car, the easiest way is to first head towards Cementerio de Guaro
Once you’re there, pop the retreat center location into your GPS and follow the directions from there
When you arrive, you can park in the parking area and we'll guide you from there.
You can also walk up to our sacred place after parking in Guaro; it's a beautiful walk of 30 minutes with stunning views.
