Always on a quest to explore and learn more, Marjolein Theunissen is a passionate ambassador of personal growth. In home country The Netherlands she ran an online magazine and community of culture-loving editors for 7 years. She sold it to go freelance and worked for a lot of well known companies. 

Marjolein manifested to be on the porche of her own Spanish dream house on 20-02-2020 and so it happened. She moved to Spain for the sun, the mountains and the simple life, but decided after 4 years to go all in for a new adventure. With Costa del Soul she unites all her gifts and talents, to accelerate personal growth and make the world a more harmonious place.

This brave and savvy woman left her corporate job in logistics to pursue her dream: working full-time to create the best retreat experiences. Maartje Wammes divides her time between coaching retreats part-time and serving as Head of Sales & Events at Costa del Soul.

By default, Maartje always thinks six steps ahead, a highly valued skill when organizing sold-out, high-quality experiences. Her practical approach and extensive experience in organizing numerous events herself are invaluable.
