During this Soul Summer Night, Mario Maywa and double bass player Eric Kopetz invite us into a deep and atmospheric musical journey blending world music, poetic songwriting and immersive tribal soundscapes.
Through voice, guitar, double bass and a rich collection of ancestral and contemporary instruments, the duo creates a warm sensory landscape inspired by nature, contemplation and the mystery of life itself.
With influences from South American, African, Indian and psychedelic music traditions, the concert moves between intimate songs, meditative moments and expansive instrumental journeys, somewhere between a singer-songwriter concert and a ceremonial sound experience.
Many of the compositions were born in mountains, forests and by the sea, carrying themes of personal transformation, vision and connection with the natural world. This concert is part of the artistic journey leading toward the release of Mario Maywa’s upcoming album Tu eres otro yo (2026).

With more than 20 years of experience, 15 albums and performances across Europe, Asia and Latin America, his work is deeply inspired by nature, meditation, shamanic traditions and the transformative power of sound.
Eric Kopetz is a double bass player whose warm and intuitive playing brings depth, grounding and emotional richness to the duo’s immersive sound world.
Together with Mario, he helps create intimate musical spaces that invite presence, contemplation and connection.
