While modern medicine isolates a plant’s active ingredients, shamanic traditions approach plants as living beings. During this experiential workshop, you will meet a plant in nature and connect with its spirit.
You will learn to distinguish between its physical, energetic and spiritual qualities, experience a plant-spirit healing and explore how to offer this healing to others. Through a guided drum journey, you will leave with a plant ally, not a prescription, but a relationship.
IMPORTANT: This is not a plant medicine day: no psychoactive or mind-altering substances will be used. Plant Spirit Healing is about connecting with the spirit and wisdom of an indigenous plant through nature-based and shamanic practices.
No herbal recipes or theoretical plant study, this day is centered around direct experience.
Peter de Haan, better known as De Poldersjamaan, has over 30 years of experience as a shamanic guide and drum maker. His work centres on the connection between people, nature and spirit. Through drum journeys and direct experience in nature, Peter helps participants connect with plants as living beings, teachers and healing allies—and discover the wisdom that becomes available when we truly learn to listen.
To get to the Costa del Soul Retreat Center by car, the easiest way is to first head towards Cementerio de Guaro
Once you’re there, pop the retreat center location into your GPS and follow the directions from there
When you arrive, you can park in the parking area and we'll guide you from there.
You can also walk up to our sacred place after parking in Guaro; it's a beautiful walk of 30 minutes with stunning views.
