On this special afternoon, we gather around the teachings of White Buffalo Calf Woman, a sacred figure within the Lakota tradition who brought teachings of prayer, harmony, gratitude and our relationship with all living beings.
Guided by Peter de Haan (De Poldersjamaan), we step into a ceremonial space where silence, intention and mindful creation come together. Through simple yet meaningful ritual, we slow down, become fully present and reconnect with ourselves, with each other and with the living world around us.
Throughout the afternoon, we will move through a gentle ceremonial process of prayer, intention and mindful creation.
In a calm and meditative atmosphere, we work with our hands while allowing the mind to quiet and the heart to speak. Every small, intentional act becomes a prayer, an invitation to slow down, be fully present and connect with what truly matters.
The afternoon is interwoven with storytelling, silence, reflection and ceremony, creating a space where inner stillness and connection can naturally unfold.
No previous experience is needed. There is nothing you need to know or prepare, simply come with an open heart and an open mind.
The ceremony is guided by Peter de Haan, also known as De Poldersjamaan. For many years, Peter has been sharing ceremonies inspired by indigenous wisdom traditions, always with deep respect for their origins and teachings.
His way of guiding is grounded, heartfelt and accessible. Rather than offering answers, he creates a space in which participants can slow down, listen deeply and discover their own connection with nature, spirit and the wisdom within.
Places are intentionally limited to create an intimate ceremonial setting.
We look forward to welcoming you into this evening of prayer, presence and connection.
To get to the Costa del Soul Retreat Center by car, the easiest way is to first head towards Cementerio de Guaro
Once you’re there, pop the retreat center location into your GPS and follow the directions from there
When you arrive, you can park in the parking area and we'll guide you from there.
You can also walk up to our sacred place after parking in Guaro; it's a beautiful walk of 30 minutes with stunning views.
